My printer is a few years old but it was working great. I am a member of the ink program. However the last time I turned it on, it updated and then froze. When I called customer support they said “this is a known issue and your printer won’t work anymore you have to buy a new one through our plan…..”.  This is unacceptable from an ecological standpoint. My printer is not broken. It’s unethical to force me to buy a new one just because the software update hasn’t been designed to include older printers.
is there a way to reset the printer to the previous software? I hate to waste a perfectly good printer.
