I have recently upgraded from Windows 7 Pro to Windows 10 Pro (64 bit) on my HP ProBook 450 G1. I haven't been able to install or setup my HP Envy printer. It uses a wireless connection, but nothing else works. HP online drivers and software downloads fail, HP Printer disk fails, error messages include "Driver is unavailable" along with port discrepancies when attempting to add the printer. I have spent over a week on this utilizing Windows Device Managers and troubleshooting, Google searches, running HP Print & Scan Doctor, HP Support Assistant, etc. but to no avail. Is this a Win10 or HP issue (or both) and how is it resolved?

Please try
(a) Download the following software and drivers and save on your computer
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/en7640/EN7640_Full_WebPack_40.13.1176.exe
(b) Right click downloaded file and select run as Administrator,
(c) Select wireless
(d) Follow on screen instructions
If failed, please post error message back.
Regards.
