HP OfficeJet 4652

A couple months ago I noticed my print jobs were looking terrible. I changed the cartridge without improvement. I recently devoted more time to trying to figure out the issue - my online detective work indicates a possible hardware issue? It was purchased in 2017, however it’s been well taken care of regularly. All of the online support I’ve attempted has been unsuccessful due to being out of warranty. My issue is that this printer, even if something is wrong, is still in well condition (or at least physically it looks exactly the same and nothing has happened to it ie drops). One option was to pay for them to support you? Ideally if i could send it in and determine if it was fixable or be able to have it credited so I can purchase a new one. I had to just throw out a printer it seems like such an environmental waste. Any clues on how to actually get HP to help?
