The printer worked fine from Laptop and Desktop following installation online of latest software yesterday.
Today desktop can initiate test print but nothing prints. No documents will print.
Software has been re-installed today yet still does not print. Laptop prints fine.
HP print and Scan Doctor, indicates it fixed certain (undisclosed) problems.
When print is initiated from aplication, the queue shows passage of documnent but no result at printer.
Can anyone help please.

I tried but no effect.
I did note however that the program list contained basic 2540 driver, although when reinstalled the printer had the Network after the device name.
When I selected the printer via control panel and used the "troubleshoot" function it stated the printer was not the default printer, however it has the green check mark and is confirmed on Right click list with a checkmark against default printer.
The troubleshooter also indicated printer not shared with homegroup. Since all my devices connect via wifi sharing is not needed surely? Nevertheless, I accepted the troubleshooter setting it to share, still will not print from this computer.
P.S. I forgot to answer the question about Windows upgrades. I do not think that this computer is fully synced as my other laptop was upgraded with a new Windows featurefull system a week ago.
I also felt it is probably down to Microsoft that the network is affected in some way. The printer responds when tests are initiated but not user data.
I have connected via USB and it works fine. I feel that it is unfair to expect you to keep trying for answers, so my sincere Thanks and have a good day.

Hi,
Did this happen after a WIn 10 update?
Can you try this Uninstaller from Microsoft and then reinstall the FULL feature software again?

Hope that helps!
