Hi, I wonder if any has come across this problem I have with my printer, I using a iMac and the printer is connected via usb and this has worked fine when printing  doc etc for several years. In the last few weeks when the printer is idle and I'm using  my iMac every 20 min or so I keep getting error message to turn printer Off and then On and return to normal idle state until the same message pop up again, any ideas ? I have replaced drivers and checked it using the latest software.. I must stress this happen when the printer is idleIMG_0223.JPG

Hi,

Please unplug the USB cable from the printer, restart it and allow it some time, can you see the same behavior when the USB cable is not plugged or not?

If it doesn't happen without the USB cable, try plugging it to another USB port and check, else try another USB cable and check.

Be sure to use a standard cable, not longer than 1.8 meters long and directly connected to your computer, not through any USB hub or extension.
