This has more to do with the model (and setup) of the printer than it does with an IdeaPad s340 computer.

The Wi-Fi password is normally the network password you use to connect the printer to your home (office) network.

HP Printers - Find Your Wireless WEP, WPA, WPA2 Password

There are a generally (not always) at least a couple of options available.

1)  Use the Embedded Web Server (EWS) to view / adjust the Wireless settings for the printer.

Open your favorite browser > type / enter Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Tab Network > Wireless (802.11) > IPv4 Configuration

And

Tab Network > Wireless (802.11) > Advanced

NOTE:  If your mystery printer supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bandwidth, make sure the connection is being made to the correct SSID (network name) for the bandwidth you are using.

2)  Set the printer to "Network Defaults" and (essentially) start over.  The wireless pass phrase (password) must be entered correctly - setting back to Network Defaults at least eliminates any "stuck" or pre-entered password that might have been wrong, corrupted, or incorrectly interpreted.

If you don't know how to do this for your printer, the information is usually available in Category Manuals > User Guide

You can also generally find detailed instructions in the User Guide to connect the printer to your network.

3)  Excellent help for a variety of issues and problems can be found in the Wireless Printing Center.

Even if you think you are doing everything exactly right, consider taking a couple of minutes to peruse the menus.

4)   HP Collection of “how-to” videos

HP Video Gallery

  • Use Categories and the search window to narrow the results.

For example,

Category Printers and All-in-Ones > Networking and Wireless

Category Printers and All-in-Ones > Install, Setup, Drivers

  • Select your Video

5)  Double check - or even change the Wireless password to your network.  Know that this is a "bigger deal" - if you change the Wireless password to the network, every Wireless device in your household / office must be updated with the new password.
