I have done everything: unplugging for minutes, hours and days at a time; connecting via USB; pressing the power button for a minute at a time (no effect)... nothing has worked. I've read all of the community note entries to better understand what I could do... TO NO SUCCESS.
I've now reached the point that I NEED THIS PRINTER.
HP does not make seeking help/assistance very easy, so I'm resorting to this community note.
Please note: I just upgraded my Mac OS to Sonoma, but it is not listed in the drop down. I had this screen prior to upgrading the operating system as well. Thank you.

Hi @Dezyfab,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be glad to help you!
I understand that you are having issues with the Printer stuck on the boot screen.
This could be a hardware issue. However, let's try the semi-full reset and see if that works.
The reset instructions are specific to your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instructions to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
Please mark this post as “Accepted Solution” if the issue is resolved and if you feel this reply was helpful click “Yes”.
