I bought a new computer, I am trying to connect my two printers to HP Smart on the computer.  It finds them both, says they are both online.  It adds one, but says the Laser is powered off.  it is indeed on.  I have rebooted the printer and computer and network connections on both the printer and computer several times.  It keeps giving me the same error.

Then one highlighted below worked fine.  when I click on the second one (Laser) I get the error message below it.  I turn the printer off/on and try again and get the same error everytime......Please help!!  I've tried updating drivers also.  I uninstalled HP Smart, reinstalled it and started from scratch, same error......soooo frustrating

Welcome to the HP Community --

Both the printer and device on which you are running HP App (formally HP Smart) must be on the same network.

The Smart Tank 6000 shows the IP address as 192.168.12.17

The Laser printer in your image shows the IP address as 192.168.223.1

The HP App / HP Smart cannot cross sub-nets.
