Is there anyway to print legal and letter size in one document without two trays?

One general purpose solution that might work is to export the document to PDF

and

Print the document using Adobe Reader DC /Optional  Foxit Reader

NOTE:  Both readers are very similar in what they support and how they work...

This might be easy or you might have to print some pages (Page Range) and then others.

First option:

Print all pages and select to "Shrink oversized pages" to fit on your regular paper.

One job but smaller print on those pages that were originally a larger size.

Second option:

Open the document

Print part of the job one size (Page Range, for example, print 1-5, 8-10)

Switch the paper, switch the paper settings for the printer, and (perhaps) select a different shortcut / Preset

Open the document

Print the "other pages" (Page Range, for example, print 6-7, 11-12)

Example

Open the PDF document

Click the printer icon

Adjust the job settings on the main menu

Click into Properties to select paper size / source (Tray) / media / shortcut - Preset

Click OK to save Properties settings and leave that menu

When ready, on the main print menu, click Print

General Example - Adobe Reader DC - Main Menu

Manage Print Output with Print Preview_PDF_1GManage Print Output with Print Preview_PDF_1G

Example - Paper Modify / Retain - EWS to change Tray and Paper settings

Ignore the last section (Preferences for Windows)
