To reconnect or reinstall your HP ENVY 5030 All-In-One Printer to your laptop, follow these steps.
Windows:
Remove the Printer:
- Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
- Find your HP ENVY 5030 and click on it, then select Remove device.
Reinstall the Printer:
- Download and install the latest drivers from the HP support website.
- Run the downloaded installer and follow the on-screen instructions to set up the printer.
Add the Printer:
- Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
- Click on Add a printer or scanner.
- Select your HP ENVY 5030 from the list and follow the instructions to complete the setup.
Mac:
Remove the Printer:
- Open System Preferences from the Apple menu.
- Click on Printers & Scanners.
- Select your HP ENVY 5030 and click the minus (-) button to remove it.
Reinstall the Printer:
- Download the latest drivers from the HP support website.
- Open the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to install the drivers.
Add the Printer:
- Open System Preferences from the Apple menu.
- Click on Printers & Scanners.
- Click on the plus (+) button to add a new printer.
- Select your HP ENVY 5030 from the list and follow the instructions to complete the setup.
Wireless Connection:
If your printer is connected wirelessly, ensure your printer and laptop are on the same Wi-Fi network. To reconnect wirelessly:
- On the printer's control panel, go to Network Settings or Wireless Settings.
- Select Wireless Setup Wizard and follow the instructions to connect to your Wi-Fi network.
- Once connected, follow the steps above to add the printer to your laptop.
Using HP Smart App:
You can also use the HP Smart app to simplify the process:
- Download and install the HP Smart app from the Microsoft Store or the Mac App Store.
- Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to add your printer.
