I installed gutenprint-5.3.3.dmg  but it did not work this time. I have installed this driver before and while it works the first time, after that it doesn't. Have you done something different that works consistently?

@jmitsche, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

There is no driver available on the HP Support site for this model printer to work on macOS 11.1. This printer is also not AirPrint compatible.

 

I'm afraid due to the age of the printer, the driver will not be available anytime soon as HP has stopped its manufacturing.

 

If you have tried the Guten Print drivers and it did not help and if the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.

Actually I am now running Big Sur 11.2.1, so while the fix worked on at least one earlier version, it doesn't on the latest release.
