HP Deskjet 2050 All-in-One Printer - J510a
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello there,

Several years ago, I bought a printer here where I live in Spain, it's a Deskjet 2050 J510. I have barely used it so far and now that I had to change the cartridges, I encountered the following issue: HP app says cartridges are incompatible with my printer and that seemed strange to me because the new cartridge that I just bought are for Europe: Then after doing a bit of research I found that my printer actually belongs to NA region: I have no Idea how that happened, anyway, I would like to change it to Europe region if it's possible. Thanks in advance.

Regards.

Welcome to HP Support Community!

We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.

Keep me posted.

If this helps, please mark the public post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers.
