Product: HP DeskJet 3700 All-in-One printer series

All the instructions on scanning show a screen to put the documents on.  My printer doesn't have one.  Where do I put the papers?

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

 

We assume that the FULL featured software is installed?  If not, this resource will show you how it's done:

HP Deskjet 3720 3755 3730 3723 Download software install and connect wirelessly

 

After installing the Software, follow the steps in this resource that shows you how to scan (where to put the document)

 

HP Deskjet 3720 | 3721 | 3730 | 3755 | Scan a document as a PDF

I received an email that someone called Greenturtle sent me a reply to my difficulty with finding a place to put documents to be scanned.  I have looked everywhere to find this reply, but I can't see a hint of it.  So what use is this questioning feature?
