hp officejet pro 8025e printer
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I am wondering if the hp officejet pro 8025e printer has a way to turn off auto off or sleep modes or if either mode is supported to begin with? I can't find any information about this in the online user guide.

@gamekid, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Sleep mode automatically puts the printer into a lower-power state after a set period of time of non-use. The printer returns to its normal power state when you send another print or scan job.

A printer in sleep mode might display some of the following characteristics:

  • The control panel display is dark

  • The power light is slowly pulsing

  • The power light is dim

Sleep mode cannot be disabled, although on some printers you can change the inactive time before the printer enters sleep mode.

To know how to change the settings of Sleep mode and Auto-off, refer to page 3 of the User Guide

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

The manual doesn't mention the e version of the 8025 printer.
