Smart Tank Plus 550 series
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I don't ownSmart Tank Plus 550 series printer anymore but I keep getting requests to update, how do I stop this.

I haven't had a HP printer since Feb, 2021. I have Googled this and that but nothing works.

TIA

Hi,

Please follow below steps to remove the device from the HP Support Assistant program:

1.  Firstly there is no On the top menu,  it has a button on top right with a pencil in the icon appearing on my screen.

2, There is an icon above the printer to the left of the screen and when I click on it opens a box that "says My printer and below that is CANCEL or greyed out the word SAVE.

3. There is no pop up box with  "Edit device information

4.  And because I can't advance from your  number 1 instruction then naturally I can't advance to "Remove this device."

5. And I didn't mark your reply as solved. because it's not solved.

TIA

I can't help but feel I been answered by a robot, my last post was clear as to the instructions which didn't work ones  handed out by supposed experts ..

What a disgrace.
