Hi @Ben_49,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I am sorry to hear that your PDF file is not filling the entire page when you print it on your HP ENVY 6458e,I would request you to please follow the steps::

Check Print Settings in PDF Viewer

  • Open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader (or your preferred viewer).
  • Go to File → Print.
  • Under Page Sizing & Handling, select:
  • Fit or Fit to Printable Area (scales the document to fill the page).
  • Avoid “Actual Size” if the PDF was created smaller than the paper size.
  • Ensure the correct paper size (e.g., A4 or Letter) is selected.

Check Printer Properties

  • In the print dialog, click Printer Properties or Preferences.
  • Verify:
  • Paper Size matches the loaded paper.
  • Borderless Printing is enabled if you want full‑page output.
  • Scaling is set to 100% or “Fit to Page.”

Update Printer Driver

  • Go to HP’s support site → download the latest driver for the Envy 6458e.
  • Outdated drivers can cause scaling issues with PDFs.

Print a Test Page

  • On the printer touchscreen: Setup → Reports → Printer Status Report.
  • If the test page fills correctly, the issue is software settings, not hardware.

Update Printer Drivers:

  • Ensure your printer drivers are up to date for the best compatibility and feature support. Visit HP's official website to download the latest drivers if necessary.

Take care and have an amazing day!
