Product: HP Ink Tank 315
Operating System: macOS 11.0 Big Sur

Good day, I recently bought a macbook air and I have the HP tank 315 series. I have tried downloading the recent drive that is compatible with the current OS however it does not seem to be working. I also tried downloading the software from the HP site from 2020 but it is not compatible with this laptop. The printer is USB connected and I have connected it to a dongle. The printer does appear on the list of printers but it does not pick up which software it is. Anyone who could help with this issue I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance.

Try to install with the next Apple Smart Tank basic driver:

 

1. Connect your printer with USB cable:

2. Then install the next software

* Click YES   to say thank you, 

* Click Accepted Solution when question is answered.
