HP ENVY Photo 6234 All-in-One Printer

When I select 'Print Two-Sided' this command reverts to one sided after one use. It used to stay operative until I turned it off. How can I keep it operating without having to select it each time I print?

On my LJ it is done by setting a new default.

For example, if you want Black & White and duplex then bring up the Control Panel and go to devices and printers

Select your printer and the "Printing preferences"

Specify the following and save as "BW-print" and then apply

The "apply" make the bw-print the default.  On my win11 system, the printing dialog that pops up from Word indicates only one sided printing but it actually prints in duplex. You must select the "factory default" and click "apply" to revert.
