Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The error code UA_400_EB000U0204 in the HP Smart app usually indicates a problem connecting to your HP account.
Please follow these steps,
Update or Reinstall the HP Smart App
- Go to your App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android).
- Uninstall HP Smart completely.
- Reinstall it and try signing in again.
Check Your Internet Connection
- Make sure your phone is on a stable Wi-Fi (not mobile data).
- Restart your router if needed.
- Try switching Wi-Fi networks if possible.
Clear App Cache (Android only)
- Go to Settings > Apps > HP Smart > Storage > Clear Cache & Data.
- Then reopen the app and try again.
Use a Different Device or Browser
- Try signing in to HP Smart web or HP account page from a computer or another phone.
Reset Network Settings (Optional)
If nothing else works:
Go to Settings > System > Reset > Reset Network Settings (on your phone).
Note: This will reset all saved Wi-Fi networks.
