HP Printer 4130
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

still having issues registering with instant ink, i do not own a smartphone or use windows 10 so cannot use app to register printer. spoke to agent on phone yesterday and he said install easystart and that will register printer but it does not work as software stalls prior to number 3 and just have a blank pop up page and software hangs. all firewall, and anti virus been disabled but still no change. there must be an alternative way to register printer so i can use instant ink.Clipboard01.jpg

@DingoDoo, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I understand you are trying to enroll the printer in Instant Ink. The only method is via the HP Smart app or using the Instant Ink web page.

For assistance, refer to - Enrolling in HP Instant Ink

If this does not help, kindly contact the Instant Ink department in your region for assistance. The contact information can be found on the home page of Instant Ink. Click here or go to HP Instant Ink support

Keep me posted for any other assistance.

Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
