To install the HP LaserJet M1136 MFP printer on your MacBook Air with macOS Sequoia 15.5, follow these steps:

Download the Printer Software:

  • Visit 123.hp.com to obtain the latest driver and installation software for your HP LaserJet M1136 MFP printer.
  • Alternatively, go to www.hp.com/support and follow these steps:
    1. Select your country/language.
    2. Choose "Drivers & Downloads".
    3. Select "Printers".
    4. Enter your product name/number (HP LaserJet M1136) in the search box.
    5. Press Enter or click the search icon.
    6. Select the correct model from the list or click "Go" to get software and driver results.
    7. Confirm your operating system as macOS Sequoia (version 15.5).
    8. Locate the driver you want to download, and then click "Download".

Install the Print Driver:

  • Once downloaded, open the file and follow the on-screen instructions to install the print driver.
  • Ensure HP Easy Start is downloaded from 123.hp.com/LaserJet to help with the installation.

Connect the Printer:

  • Connect your HP LaserJet M1136 MFP printer to your MacBook Air using a USB cable or configure it via your network.
  • Make sure the printer's USB cable is firmly plugged into both the printer and your MacBook Air.

Configure Printer Settings:

  • After installation, open "System Preferences" on your MacBook Air.
  • Select "Printers & Scanners".
  • Click the "+" button to add a printer.
  • Select your printer from the list of available devices.
  • Follow any additional prompts to complete the setup.

Test the Installation:

  • Print a test page to ensure the printer is connected and working correctly.

Additional Tips:

  • Check System Requirements: Ensure your Mac meets the necessary system requirements for the HP Smart app.
  • Update MacOS: If you encounter any issues, make sure your operating system is up-to-date by clicking the Apple menu, selecting "System Preferences," then "Software Update," to check for updates.
