I installed the HP Smart App and set up my new HP Deskjet 4252e printer. It worked for 2 days and now the app does not open. I updated Windows 11 as someone said. Still did not work, I uninstall the app and downloaded again. Still not open. I am very disappointed with this machine. I am behind my work trying to make this machine work

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with the HP Smart App. I would request you to please follow the steps to resolve the problem with your HP Deskjet

 4252e printer:

 

Repair HP Smart

  • Go to Settings → Apps → Installed Apps
  • Find HP Smart
  • Click Advanced Options
  • Click Repair
  • Try opening the app
  • If it still won’t open:
    Go back and click Reset

Reinstall HP Smart:

  • Fully uninstall the HP Smart App from your device.
  • Search Windows for "Installed apps," locate HP Smart, and then uninstall it.
  • After uninstallation, restart your computer.
  • Download and install the latest version of HP Smart from the Microsoft Store again.

Check for Windows Updates:

  • Go to Settings > Windows Update.
  • Check for any available updates and install them.
  • Restart your computer after updating.
