I was installing a new printer and I can not remove an older printer that is installed. This printer is not connected but even after making the new printer as default the old printer is grabbing the print jobs.

The old printer:

when I try to remove this printer I get the error

Any time I try to look at the printer proporties, it take a long time for this tab to open 1min +

This printer thinks it is shared, when I try to remove the share I get this error

When I checked the print spooler was running, I restarted it

When I go to check what port this bad printer is using there are no port at all listed.

I have tried opening the contral panel thru the command prompt as an Administrator, I have restarted the PC many times, and treid all above steps many times. I have full admin right to this PC

The newer print I tried to install manually using IP and the current correct drivers. I installs fine and will print a test page, however when I use any other software, PDF, Word, Excel even after confirming the correct printer is selected, when I hit print it changes to the bad printer. I do have the new printer set a default. I have removed the new printer as well but can't remove this bad printer.
