Hi @THOMMYNATOR,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you have to run the alignment page every time you power on your HP DeskJet 2752e printer, it could be due to a few reasons.
- Firmware Issue: There might be a bug in the printer's firmware that causes it to forget the alignment settings upon power cycling. Check if there's a firmware update available for your printer through the HP support website.
- Low Ink Levels: If the ink cartridges are low or not seated correctly, the printer may fail to remember the alignment. Ensure that the cartridges are installed properly and have sufficient ink.
- Cartridge Replacement: If you've recently replaced one or both cartridges, the printer may require repeated alignments until it recognizes the new cartridges fully.
- Printer Settings: Check the printer settings in the HP Smart app or on the printer's control panel to see if there's an option to save alignment settings or if it’s set to run alignment automatically.
- Power Supply Issues: Ensure that the printer is receiving consistent power. Power fluctuations or an unstable power supply can lead to such problems.
- Internal Memory Issue: If the printer’s internal memory is malfunctioning, it may not save the alignment data after being powered off.
Note:
- Update Firmware: Go to the HP support site and check for firmware updates.
- Check Cartridges: Reinstall the ink cartridges to ensure they are seated correctly.
- Reset Printer: Perform a factory reset on the printer, which can sometimes resolve persistent issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
