WIndows 10 2004 and color option 3830

When HP will solve the situation for inkjet printer drivers that have the color option removed in Windows 10 2004 ? Since may 2020, users that use printer 3830 or others models, in WiFi, can't print in color because the color option is not there anymore. 

The only tricks found that works for now, is to use the OfficeJet 5200 Drivers for the 3830 printer. The functionnality is barely the same and the color opton is working. But why it take so long to HP to correct the problem ????

Hi,

Try following below specific version of the HP Print and Scan Doctor Utility by selecting your printer:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/patches/HPPSdr.exe

Be sure to restart your PC and allow the utility to complete the process, then check for any difference.

Try printing and check for any change, if the same remains try printing using the newly added print queue copy (Copy1) and check for any difference.

It's not that I can't print. It's that the color option are not there when printer is WiFi connected. When connected by USB, the option is there. Someone tell that I have to add the printer by IP address in Windows to be able to have the color option by WiFi. I will try this way. The only other way I find is to use the 5200 printer driver to have the color option. But it's not "clean" as installation.
