If your HP Deskjet 2620 is not connecting, you can follow these steps to get it back online:

Restart the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and disconnect it from the power source. Wait for about 60 seconds, then reconnect it and turn it back on.

Check Network Connection:

  • Ensure that your Wi-Fi network is working properly.
  • Make sure your printer is within the range of your Wi-Fi router.

Reconnect the Printer to Wi-Fi:

  • On the Printer Control Panel:
    • Make sure the printer is turned on.
    • Press and hold the Wireless Button for about 3 seconds or until the wireless light starts blinking.
  • On Your Computer:
    • Open the HP Smart app or go to 123.hp.com to download it if you haven't already.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to add your printer and connect it to your Wi-Fi network.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Make sure your printer firmware is up-to-date. You can update it through the HP Smart app or by visiting the HP support website.

Check Printer Status:

  • Ensure that there are no error messages or notifications on the printer’s display panel.

Reinstall Printer Drivers:

  • Go to the HP support website.
  • Download and install the latest drivers for HP Deskjet 2620.
  • Follow the installation instructions to set up your printer.
