If your HP Deskjet 2620 is not connecting, you can follow these steps to get it back online:
Restart the Printer:
- Turn off the printer and disconnect it from the power source. Wait for about 60 seconds, then reconnect it and turn it back on.
Check Network Connection:
- Ensure that your Wi-Fi network is working properly.
- Make sure your printer is within the range of your Wi-Fi router.
Reconnect the Printer to Wi-Fi:
- On the Printer Control Panel:
- Make sure the printer is turned on.
- Press and hold the Wireless Button for about 3 seconds or until the wireless light starts blinking.
- On Your Computer:
- Open the HP Smart app or go to 123.hp.com to download it if you haven't already.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to add your printer and connect it to your Wi-Fi network.
Update Printer Firmware:
- Make sure your printer firmware is up-to-date. You can update it through the HP Smart app or by visiting the HP support website.
Check Printer Status:
- Ensure that there are no error messages or notifications on the printer’s display panel.
Reinstall Printer Drivers:
- Go to the HP support website.
- Download and install the latest drivers for HP Deskjet 2620.
- Follow the installation instructions to set up your printer.
