Hi @JMid,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Check the Ethernet Connection:

  • Ensure the Ethernet cable is properly connected to both the printer and the router.
  • Use a different Ethernet cable to rule out any cable issues.

Network Configuration:

  • Verify that the printer is set up to work on a wired network. Sometimes network settings might need to be manually configured, especially if there was a previous wireless setup.
  • Print the Network Configuration Page from the printer to check its IP address and network settings.

IP Address Conflicts:

  • Check for IP address visibility issues using a static IP address to avoid conflicts.
  • Verify that the IP address is within the correct subnet as defined by the router configuration.

Restart Devices:

  • Restart the printer and your network devices, such as the router or switch. This can often resolve connectivity issues.

Driver Installation:

  • Ensure that the correct drivers are installed. You may need to reinstall them if there have been configuration changes.
  • Download the latest driver or software updates from the HP Support Page.

Embedded Web Server (EWS):

  • Access the Embedded Web Server by entering the printer's IP address into a web browser. Navigate to the networking section to check the network status and settings.

I hope this helps.
