HP OfficeJet 5258 All-in-One Printer

Recently the "double-sided" print option has ceased to be available.  Why?  Also I cannot print "odd pages" and then "even pages" under Paper Handling>Sheets to Print" so the workaround doesn't work either.

If you are using Windows, check the following.

On your PC, go to control panel>right click devices and printers and select open. On the next window, right click on the icon for your printer and select printer properties from the drop down menu. On the next window that opens, click the device settings tab and scroll down until you see "duplex unit" and make sure it says installed. Change it if not by clicking on the arrow and selecting installed from the drop down menu. Click apply and then open a document a try printing.
