Hi @steviewray,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
I understand that you want to connect your HP DeskJet 2652 All-in-One Printer to your Chromebook, either wirelessly or via USB:
Option 1: Wireless Setup (Recommended)
- Reset the printer’s Wi-Fi:
- Hold the Wi-Fi and Cancel buttons on the printer for 5 seconds until the Power light starts flashing.
- This puts the printer in Wi-Fi setup mode (valid for about 2 hours).
- Connect Chromebook to Wi-Fi:
- Make sure your Chromebook is connected to the same wireless network you want the printer to use.
- Make sure your Chromebook is connected to the same wireless network you want the printer to use.
- Add the printer to your Chromebook:
- Click the clock in the bottom-right corner > Settings (gear icon).
- Scroll down to Advanced > Printing > Printers.
- Your printer should show under Available printers to save.
- Click Save next to the HP DeskJet 2652.
- Test Print:
- Open a document or webpage > press Ctrl + P > select your printer > and Print.
Option 2: USB Setup (Wired Connection)
- Plug in the USB cable between the Chromebook and the printer.
- On your Chromebook:
- Go to Settings > Advanced > Printing > Printers.
- It should detect the printer automatically.
- Click Add if prompted.
- Print a Test Page:
- Use Ctrl + P in a document to check connectivity.
