Hi @steviewray,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand that you want to connect your HP DeskJet 2652 All-in-One Printer to your Chromebook, either wirelessly or via USB:

Option 1: Wireless Setup (Recommended)

  1. Reset the printer’s Wi-Fi:
    • Hold the Wi-Fi and Cancel buttons on the printer for 5 seconds until the Power light starts flashing.
    • This puts the printer in Wi-Fi setup mode (valid for about 2 hours).

  2. Connect Chromebook to Wi-Fi:
    • Make sure your Chromebook is connected to the same wireless network you want the printer to use.

  3. Add the printer to your Chromebook:
    • Click the clock in the bottom-right corner > Settings (gear icon).
    • Scroll down to Advanced > Printing > Printers.
    • Your printer should show under Available printers to save.
    • Click Save next to the HP DeskJet 2652.

  4. Test Print:
    • Open a document or webpage > press Ctrl + P > select your printer > and Print.

Option 2: USB Setup (Wired Connection)

  1. Plug in the USB cable between the Chromebook and the printer.

  2. On your Chromebook:
    • Go to Settings > Advanced > Printing > Printers.
    • It should detect the printer automatically.
    • Click Add if prompted.

  3. Print a Test Page:
    • Use Ctrl + P in a document to check connectivity.
