  • Restart Setup Process: Sometimes, simply restarting the setup process can resolve issues. Disconnect the printer from power, wait for a few moments, and then reconnect it. Restart the setup process from the beginning.
  • Check for Error Messages: If there are any error messages displayed on the printer or the computer, take note of them. Error messages can provide clues about what might be causing the setup problem.
  • Use HP Smart App: Consider using the HP Smart app to set up your printer. The HP Smart app provides step-by-step instructions and can help troubleshoot setup issues.
