Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Even though I can add my OfficeJet Pro 9010 to my wifi network on my laptop, when I try to set up my printer to Wi-Fi direct,

the "show Wi-Fi Direct Printers" does not show up anymore.  When it did show up, after entering the password, it would not connect either.

I tried setting it up with the ip address, but that only sets it up through a router.

My internet through my cable company is down.  I am trying to print directly to my printer, circumventing the router.

I was able to connect my android phone directly but can't seem to get it done from my pc.

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that you are unable to connect the printer to WiFi direct, I am glad to assist you.

You might have to reset the printer.

I am sending you a private message with the steps to reset the printer. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.

I hope this helps resolve this issue completely.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers.
