changing email address

Hi I have set up the printer and with Jackson's help I have sorted scan directly from the printer to my husbands computer as he did not want to scan from the app on a phone (old school!) but I had put my email address in and obvs I need my husbands either added or to be the primary email and I have googled this before asking you..but I cannot find 'change settings' please advise thank you

To update the email address used for scanning directly from your printer to a computer, you’ll need to adjust the settings on the printer itself or through the HP App on the connected computer. Here are the steps you can follow on Windows:

1. On the printer’s control panel, press the Home or Setup button (depending on your model).
2. Navigate to Scan Settings or Scan to Computer.
3. Select Email Profile or Destination Settings.
4. You should see the current email address listed. Choose Edit, Change, or Add New.
5. Enter your husband’s email address. If you want his address to be the primary one, set it as the default or remove your own after adding his.
6. Save the changes and exit the menu.

If you are using the HP App on the computer:

1. Open the HP App on your husband’s computer.
2. Go to Printer Settings.
3. Select Scan Settings → Scan to Email.
4. Edit the existing profile or create a new one with your husband’s email address.
5. Save the profile and set it as default.

After this, when scanning directly from the printer, the files will be sent to your husband’s email instead of yours.
