Subject "...Scan to my new laptop"
Assuming the hardware is sound and working as expected,
The printer should still have the ability to Scan multiple pages --
If you have not done so,
If you are running a supported version of Windows,
Do Install the Full Driver Printer Software.
Installing the full driver printer software accomplishes a couple of things, including:
The full driver must be installed to support "Scan to Computer", that is, scanning from the printer itself to the computer.
After the software is installed,
Open the Printer Assistant > Tab Scan > Manage Scan to Computer > Enable the feature
What can you tell us about the job?
For example --
- Which application / software are you using?
- What is the content type? That is, are you scanning a document (PDF) or an Image (Photo) set?
- How large is the job? For example, if you are scanning a document, how many pages are you trying to scan in total?
- Are you using the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) or the Flatbed (glass)?
and
- What are the symptoms? For example -- Any errors?
