Hi,
Follow below steps to install and use the printer on a Chromebook:

For scanning follow below steps:
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_2275901-2074064-16
Please be aware that scanning is only supported with a wireless network connection, only printing can be done from a Chromebook with a USB cable connection.
