My printer hp photosmart c410 was working fine for years, then I switched it off for my holiday, and now I cannot turn it on correctly. When turning it on , I get all flashing lights, and no button is responding, and I cannot even switch the printer off.
I reset the printer several times, and checked that no paper is obstructing anywhere.
Any suggestion on how to solve this problem ?
Thanks in advance !

Hi @OB59,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.
I see that you are facing an issue with your Printer that has blinking lights.
A) Please follow the steps below to perform a power drain.
1) Take out the cartridges
2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.
3) Press and hold the power button down for 15 seconds and release the power button, wait for about 30 seconds.
4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not into a surge protector.
5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.
Remove the cartridges > Unplug the power cord > Wait for 30 seconds > Plug the power cord back in > Insert the cartridges
B) Kindly refer to the steps on this link to update the printer firmware and let me know if that resolves the issue.
C) If the issue still persists, refer to the steps on this link to restore factory defaults and let me know if that resolves the issue.

Thanks for kind reply! Frankly I did not expect a reply...
To be honest I don't know if your reply was helpful as I had managed to relaunch the printer in the end. No idea how the problem was solved, I was trying again and again to unplug and replug everything and after dozens of attempts the printer turned on. Maybe a point was that the printer was closed when it turned on, in combination with another unidentified factor however, as the printer was previously also refusing to turn on when it was also closed...and once turned on, it worked fine. Thanks again anyway!

Dear Irwin6,
I have been presumptuous, the printer is again with the same problem.
I cannot implement the solution you propose however, as I cannot take out the cartridges, as they are stuck at the right end, under a kind of fixed, rigid carter that prevents me from taking them out.
Do you have a solution to address this situation ?
Thanks in advance,

Hi @OB59,
As you are not able to perform a power drain by removing the ink cartridges out.
Skip the step A and continue to perform the other steps shared to resolve the issue.
