so, I bought an HP 2630 all in one printer in Ghana where I currently live and work. As usual, the ink ran out in no time and I decided to pay the already overpriced cost for 'original' HP replacements. I bought these in the U.K. Now that I am back in Ghana, the printer says the cartridges are 'not compatible'. Ive read a lot about regions etc. When are HP actually going to put their customers needs ahead of their profits? Yet again, with HP they create a problem for their paying customers. what is this nonsense about regional cartridges now? Who makes this ridiculous business decision at HP? A customer buys original HP product only to be told it cant work in the printer its made for simply because they are 'different region
HP customizes some printers and ink cartridges to meet local customer needs. If you take your printer from one country/region to another country/region, you might not find ink cartridges with the same number on the label as your original ink cartridges. If you install an ink cartridge with a different number on the label, you might see one of the following error messages:
Cartridge Not Intended for this Printer
We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.
The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
