the printer works. had to wipe computer because of virus. reinstalled all hp software twice.  print commands still go to "save print output as". need to change print location to print instead of saving output.

I understand you are not able to print. Let us try these steps to resolve this issue:

 

Go to Control panel > Devices and Printers > Right-click on your printer and make it a Default printer.

 

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and fix any driver issue

Click here to download the file. Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and click on 'Fix printing'.
