printer failure

HP Recommended
8600 HP printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Printer shows "printer failure" and I have unplugged several times and still receive the same message. What is my next step to fix?

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

 

Try connecting the Printer to a different wall outlet directly.

 

Also, try a firmware update: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02919168
