@Malcolm1922, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Blank Pages on HP DeskJet 2332 Printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your HP DeskJet 2332 printer is producing blank pages but you believe your ink levels are sufficient, there could be several potential causes. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can take to resolve the issue:

Check Ink Cartridges:

  • Ensure that the ink cartridges are properly installed. Remove and then reinsert them to confirm they are seated correctly.
  • Verify the ink levels both visually and through your printer software. Sometimes, visual assessment can provide insights into potential cartridge issues.

Run Printer Maintenance Tools:

  • Use your printer software to run maintenance tools such as printhead cleaning and alignment. This can often resolve printing issues related to clogged nozzles or misaligned printheads.

Update Printer Drivers:

  • Make sure your printer drivers are up to date. You can download the latest drivers from the HP Support website.

Check for Paper Jams:

  • Inspect the paper path for any potential clogs or jams that might be causing the paper not to pick up the ink.

Try a Test Print:

  • Perform a test print to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the issue is with the printer hardware or the specific document you are trying to print.

Reinstall Ink Cartridges:

  • Remove the ink cartridges and reinstall them. Ensure that protective tape is removed from new cartridges and that they are properly aligned.

Reset the Printer:

  • Sometimes, resetting the printer can resolve temporary hardware issues. Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for about a minute, and then plug it back in and turn it on.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!

thanks Zoey 7886, i think the problem of printing blank pages maybe in the pc software, my ink levels are okay and i have printed a test page, done head alignment, print head cleaning and other things and all test pages are coming out perfect, good colours, good black, good lettering etc.. If i want to print something from a document or similar, the print preview looks perfect but when i print it comes out blank, i am not perfect when it comes to this technology and i think it maybe something to do with settings

Hi @Malcolm1922

Thank you for the update!

If your HP Deskjet 2332 printer prints test pages perfectly but prints blank pages when issuing print commands from documents, the issue might be related to software or driver configurations on your PC. Here are some steps you can take to resolve the problem:

1. Check Printer Settings

  • Ensure that your printer is selected as the default printer in your system settings.
  • Verify that the correct printer settings are chosen, such as page size and orientation.

2. Update Printer Driver

  • Check if the printer driver is up-to-date. You can download the latest driver from the HP Support website.

3. Test with Different Applications

  • Try printing from a different program or document to see if the issue is specific to one application.

4. Reinstall Printer Software

  • Consider uninstalling and then reinstalling the printer software.
  • Go to 'Control Panel' > 'Devices and Printers'.
  • Right-click your printer and select 'Remove device'.
  • After removal, reinstall the software using installation discs or downloadable software from HP's official website.

5. Print Spooler Service

  • Make sure that the Print Spooler service is running.
  • Access 'Services' by typing services.msc in the run dialog.
  • Locate 'Print Spooler', and restart the service.
