hi, anybody help me out...i am using 2778 deskjet printer...while sending the printing command on letter/a4 paper size.An error occurs E1 error and on the same time sending command on 5*7 size print come out...

can anybody help me ....

Welcome to the HP User Community.

 

HP Smart Mobile requires that you adjust the paper size / type before opening the content to be printed.

 

Load the paper into the printer according to the instructions in the user manual:  User Guide 

Starting on Page 12 

See EWS how-to on Page 16

 

Details

Alert the printer to the paper loaded and ready to be used.

 

This printer lacks a printer control panel - use the Embedded Web Server (EWS) to adjust the paper size & type

EWS is available from your browser and from within the HP Smart application.

 

Example - Retain / Modify (update / edit / reset) Paper Size & Type - Tray and Paper Management
