Product: HP Envy Photo 7855.
Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

I am getting no help from HP's website.  I want to talk to a tech support person on the phone but it says my warranty expired a year ago and it won't give me a telephone number.  I'll happily pay for telephone tech support from HP.

 

I am getting an error message that reads "PDE plugin will damage your computer."  I'm reading I'm either supposed to install a ftp repair file or that I am supposed to delete my printer and reinstall it.  How do you delete and reinstall your printer?  And I'm I supposed to install a ftp repair file?  If so, what and how do I find it?
