Product: 5546 All In One
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi - I want to install my printer driver (5546) on my laptop.  The download (both basic and full) asks me for the printer location - wireless or usb.  My printer is wired.  There is no option for this and if you proceed with 'connect later' it just exits.  Farcically the 'Help' asks about wired, wireless or usb !!!   The old istaller I had for my old Windows doesn't run.

 

So - how do I install 5546 on a wired network for Windows 10 access ?

What is your exact printer model? is it the HP Envy 5546 printer?

 

Assuming this is correct, this model only supports USB connection or a wireless connection as listed on its specifications below:

Additionally, what do you mean by wired? from where to where the cable is connected and which cable?

 

Otherwise, please clarify your exact HP printer model and product number.
