B9180 on Windows 10 - Printer ejects paper from Lightroom and SpyderPro

B9180 Photosmart Pro
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I can successfully print from Photoshop but when trying to print from either Lightroom or Datacolor SpyderPrint Pro, the printer creates the print job, seems to start to think about printing (ie head movements etc) but then ejects the paper and removes the job from the print queue.  However, the printer still displays 'printing' on the built-in display and cancelling it just causes 'cancelling job' message to display but never disappear.  The only way to reset is to reboot/repower the printer with obvious waste of ink etc.

 

The printer will print test sheets from windows and will print from notepad etc.  

Driver being used is latest one (61.63.250.0).

 

This is driving me to distraction as profiling becomes impossible as I can't print target sheets from SpyderPrint and adds another step even from Lightroom as image needs to be sent to Photoshop for me to be able to print it.

Drivers have been removed, reinstalled and numerous other things tried but issue remains.
