Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am having some applications print the black text with a light double strike under it that provides a blurry or fuzzy print. Colored text prints fine.

Printer test page prints fine along with its print Quality Diagnostic Report.

Microsoft applications like Word and Excel print fine.

Problem occurs with non-microsoft application like eM Client, TurboTax, Adobe, etc..

I do not see that it is caused by one common font type.

I have reloaded printer software, cleaned HP print cartridges, and performed alignment several times.

All Microsoft and HP updates have been done.

This problem started last month and I thought maybe some automatic update caused it and a new one would solve it.

Any ideas on what is causing this problem and how to fix?
