Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I'm trying to find out how to use my Envy 7640 all-in-one officejet to scan directly into Evernote. What software should I use?

Hey @bookat,

I see that you are trying to scan from your Envy 7640 directly into Evernote on your PC. One program usually does not scan into another program. Your best option would be to save documents to your computer using a program such as HP Scan and then open using Evernote.

Please let me know if this resolves your issues. If it does, please click on Accept Solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. Both icons are below this post.

Brother products have advanced features for handing the scan off to another application and have had these features for many years.  I'm disappointed that my new micro-printer/scanner (M31w) will be a pain to use with Evernote and other workflows.  I only bought it because it's so small, otherwise I prefer the archaic looking but very functional Brother software.
