Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have the driver CD, but it keeps saying there are no drivers available. If I run the install.exe file, it says this is blocked by administrator! I am trying to install this HP product on a HP Envy Laptop. It works fine on my AppleMac...

Hi,

Apologies for jumping in, but I would like to add some further suggestion to try.

The CD is old and not intended for Windows 10, therefore it is being blocked.

Download and install the latest drivers for your printer below:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/COL32431/bi-80329-11/hp_LJP1100_P1560_P1600_Full_Solution-...

If the setup extracts but doesn't run, browse to C:\LJP1100_P1560_P1600_Full_Solution and double-click HpSetup.exe.

Now follow the installation and check for any difference.

Please let me know how it goes,

Shlomi

Let me know if this helps.

Please back up your data and reinstall the Operating System: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04742289

From this document perform the steps under "Perform a Windows 10 system reset through Windows Recovery Environment"

Once done, try installing the drivers.

Keep me posted.
