Sofware provided with printer, HP Solution Centre, is not available under Windows 10.
Printer installs and operates successfully. Scanner is not detected.
Is there a new driver for Windows 10 or Solution Centre equivalent.
I'm loath to purchase a new printer, since I have just purchased new ink cartridges!

Ah, you didn't upgrade your printer to Windows 10 after you upgraded your computer.
You have a driver issue. Download and install the Full featured Software and Drivers from the HP web site for your printer.
Try here...
Install the following software and drivers for the Photosmart 2575:
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/COL30951/mp-110165-3/AIO_CDB_Net_Full_Win_WW_140_408-5.exe
If you install the printer via USB, be sure to unplug the cable and remove any existing device within Devices and Printers prior running the installer..

Scanning issues…
Please try this scan solution:
HP Scan Extended
For Windows: ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi
Once it's downloaded and installed, go to Start > All Programs > HP > HP Scan Extended > Run "HP Scan Extended"
Make searchable PDF scans with this free scanning software - https://www.naps2.com/
