Purchased a 3830 all-in-one- Printer today. Printer is installed and connected to my network, with valid IP Address, and successfully prints configuration messages and print alignment pages.
Computer is iMac running MacOS Sierra, 10.12.5
I have tried running HP Easy Start setup several times, continue to get error message :
" cannot install software, cannot download the software", after download of approx. 2MB
There is no problem with the network, all other downloads run successfully.
The browser is Opera, version 46.0.2597.32
Any help, please!

Let's go through a few steps that may help to fix this issue.
And here are a few steps in the link to install the drivers from Apple Updates: Mac Printer Driver Using Apple Software Update
For scanning, you may use the HP Easy Scan app from the link: How to Scan from the Computer (Mac)
Let me know how this works.
You have a good day ahead.
