Just upgraded to Windows 7 64bit and my HP 970CSE refuses to work with it. I suspect the driver. It

was working fine with XP Pro.

Doesn't help. When I select print, it sends a command to the printer and the printer does nothing. The printer won't even turn

on. I have to turn it on manually. It worked perfect with XP Pro, so I suspect the driver Windows 7 selects is no good.

Disconnected the printer, removed the printer along with the driver in the control pannel. Reconnected the printer and turned it on. It reloaded the driver and I printed a test page and IT WORKS!!!! Thanks for your help!!!

I tried all the steps listed above.  Still no help. Tried the 'manual install method'.  Doesn't work because  Windows cannot find the HP 970CSE driver online and the printer does not show up in my 'Add Printer' drop down list.  I tried the 'manual install' method as described here, http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01796821  but my 970CSE printer does not appear in the dropdown list of printers!  Just did a 'Windows update' as well.  I am running 64-bit Windows 7 Enterprise on a brand new T410 Lenovo laptop.  So, I am stuck

The reference only gets me an error message.  I need help!  I need to downmload the appropriate drivers for my HP printers.  How do I get this done?
