HP Recommended
HP laptop G56
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The Device manager /properties/events states that the printer requires further installation.

When I open "see what's printing" I make sure that the printer is the default printer, then I click on properties and I get an error report saying  "Function address 0x00007ff.... caused a protection fault (exception code 0xc0000005)"

When I close this message another window opens saying that " The printer HP DJ 2130  driver is not installed on this computer. Do you want to install it now?" I proceed to install it.  It is selected from a list of printers but fails to install the driver. At this stage the system is searching for a setup information (.inf) file which it apparently cannot find on the disk.
